"Sherlock Holmes as you've never seen him before in the Curse of the Hambrook Hound". Roger Booth and Peter Hall, (Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson) give us their unique interpretation of an old classic. What is the curse that hangs over the Hambrook family? What is the terrible beast that roams the moor? Exhausted by his most recent case, Holmes and Watson go to Hambrook Hall to solve the mystery and Holmes begins to suspect everyone he questions, including himself. Sherlock Holmes in the Curse of the Hambrook Hound takes you on a funny, fast-paced adventure, with all the excitement of a Conan Doyle classic.

Britain is in the midst of the Second World War and the brave Officers of the RAF are fighting the battle in the air over the south coast of England. In a little corner of Sussex, the officers of RAF Tangmere are playing their part in the Allied Forces' mission to defeat Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany and, ultimately, free Occupied Europe. When one of their own is suspected of being a spy for the Nazis, the rest of the team must come together to defeat their evil foe for the sake of our brave boys in the sky. In this comedy musical, the Chidham & Hambrook Players pay tribute to the ordinary people who each played their part in Britain’s victory in 1945, as well as shamelessly plagiarising the work of Richard Curtis, writer of the Blackadder series on which this production is based. With daring pilots and plucky intelligence officers, as well as music from the period, this show will bring a bit of wartime Sussex to Chidham.

Inspired by Hitchcock's classic tale and performed as a live period radio play, this romantic thriller is a fast-paced ride through the signature world of the Master of Suspense. Richard Hannay is visiting 1930s London when he meets Annabella Smith, who is on the run from foreign agents, after a disturbance at a music hall. Later that night, Annabella is murdered and Hannay must then try to break the spy ring and prove his innocence. From an epic train chase to a feisty love interest, Hannay has his work cut out for him as he searches for the truth about The 39 Steps.

Based on one of the timeless stories of one of the best-selling books of the nineteenth century, this stage adaptation condenses the epic tale so that it can be told by just eight actors. The story follows an amateur theatre troupe as they produce the massive tale of the fictional Jewish prince and merchant Judah Ben-Hur. He falls to galley slave and rises to champion charioteer within Jerusalem during the life of Jesus Christ, while the actors struggle along through the piece as rivalries form and offstage romances interfere. Complete with chariot race, sea battle, and stage combat, Patrick Barlow weaves his compressed style popularized by The 39 Steps into one of the largest stories ever told.
